Are You A Trendsetter?

Originally written in November, 2015.

I hated writing back in high school. SO MUCH. It was the most tedious process, between footnotes and word count and a whole lot of procrastination. And I'd wait until the very last minute and scribble down some semblance of a paper and then turn it in the next day.... and somehow get a A or a B. How? No idea.

Except now it's starting to make sense. Now, I find myself writing almost every other day. I've been blogging here since I got my first digital camera in 2010. I had the privilege of writing articles for Triad Weddings Magazine blog for a year and a half, and now I've adding a third writing venture to my list - writing for Trend Magazine. A magazine that is geared towards youtubers and bloggers and creatives and giving them their own platform and spotlight to stand on.

I will never quite figure out how I got from hating writing to wanting and volunteering to write for magazines and blogs. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I didn't have to write a 1000 word paper on why Scarlet Letter is the most boring book of all time. Actually, wait, no I definitely could have written that paper, happily! But you catch my drift.

If you want to read the articles I've contributed to the Trend Magazine blog in the last couple of months, (or read my future ones) click on the links below and follow them on Instagram and Facebook!

I'm so excited to see where this path takes me this year. Are there any big dreams (or accidental paths!) you have that you're working towards making come true this year? Tell me all about them!!
