I remember when I first got my camera and started this business. I took that thing everywhere, photographed everything. And then.... the more I took photographs for work, the less I carried my camera around randomly. When I look through my hard drives, there are so few personal photos! Which is such a shame.
But NOW, I have this beautiful niece (you've probably seen her on my Instagram). And every time I see her, I remember the albums that my mom has filled with photos of me and my brother as little people. I know about 50% of my childhood memories are filled in with those photos and a big part of me wants to do the same for my little growing family.
Last weekend, my sister in law invited us out to visit the McKee Corn Maze in Rougemont. It's Skylar's first autumn, and it NEEDED to be filled with pumpkins, corn, and hay rides. Obviously. And I'm so glad I brought my camera, because these photos are what our future children's memories are made of.
Cutest. Thing. EVERRRRR.
Now, off to the printers they go, because these images must be framed, scrapbooked, and saved for the rest of forever! These kids really do grow up far too quickly and I don't want to miss a second!
Hope your wednesday is filled with just as many warm autumn memories!
