Most of our couples walk into a session a wee bit nervous, and confident that we will pose them, arrange them, etc. And then you have couples like Erin & Adam. The ones that walk over with their outfits ready, their favorite items in a bag, and all their practiced smiles ready to go (at least for Adam-the-Model here).
I knew I was in for an awesome session, when it started with a campus tour, a lift, a kiss, and a dip. All I had to do was shoot. Which is what we did. Adam and Erin regaled us with hilarious stories of how she used to ignore him, which statues never shoot of their guns, and which classes they failed/passed together. It was a great afternoon, and the best way to get a tour of UNC Campus!
Erin & Adam - you two are so awesome! You make "kiss-and-dips" and football kicks look like the most natural thing in the world. We had so much fun, and we hope your Florida wedding is as hilarious and fun as you two are.
Adam was well-versed in the history of Chapel Hill, so we made sure to stop at all of UNC Chapel Hill's iconic spots, like the "Kissing Bench" and the Old Well. Classics.
Fantastic light, blooming trees, buzzing bees, and two gorgeous people? Yeah, it's spring. :)
Yes Adam, you're a natural. :P
I love it when our couples not only chose locations that have meaning, but also bring along items that represent their relationship. Erin told us all about the long hours she spent at the Wilson Library, and Adam brought along a football, since he used to play intramural. And since they are both huge fans of sophisticated wines and beers, they incorporated that as well. We just love getting to see the things that brought our couples together!
An impromptu football game... love!
Go Tar Heels!
I am officially amending my contract to include a "sugar clause" - all sessions must end with some sort of cupcake. Bonus points if they come from Sugarland! Yum!
I'll end with my favorite photo of the day...
