The more time I spend at home working, editing, cleaning, folding laundry, or pretty much doing ANYthing, the more I learn that I don't like idle silence. And by idle silence, I mean the sound of me typing, or the soft annoying whispers of my own voice seeping out of Brian's headphones. It drives me bonkers and pretty much results in me having some type of noise constantly playing through my headphones.
I usually have on a Netflix show that doesn't require actual watching (such as Law & Order SVU, which I am almost positive I've seen every single episode of...) But lately, my BFF and I have been working on a fun music project - creating collaborative playlists for books we read. Before you begin judging us on our ridiculous obsessiveness over fictional characters and our need to totally geek out over novels, you have to listen to these songs! We have found some with incredible lyrics, some that express deep and utter sadness, and others that make us want to jump up and go zip-lining just to prove we could. And since this is what I've been spending the majority of my day editing to lately, I thought I'd be super duper nice... and share it with my wonderfully loyal readers.
The two playlists I have for you are for Divergent & The Hunger Games (and yes, I ship Fourtris and Fannie). I couldn't even begin to narrow it down to one specific genre except, um, well, awesome. Can that be a genre? Well it is now!
Happy listening! And if you think of any songs we should totally add, leave it in the comment box below! :)
