Winter weddings in North Carolina aren't your average Disney movie-esque type of event (you know, snow-filled backdrops, daring swordfights, magic spells, a prince in disguise...) Fortunately, with the crazy weather we have this year, Connie & Chris' winter wedding at Childress Vineyards was beautiful. It occurred a mere week after this year's only snowstorm, and we had the perfect setting. Childress was arrayed with twinkle lights and draped sheets everywhere (yeah, I was swooning.)
Connie & Chris are two quiet ones, for sure, but they absolute let loose on their big day! The first look was a great way to wrinkle out the nerves and after they read each other their vows (again, SWOONING), they posed with their best friends in the world. Then, with the sun setting outside, they were married between wine barrels and family. A live band sent us off into the night and this winter wedding was everything you'd have hoped for and more!
I'm forever grateful to you two, Connie & Chris, for letting me into your lives and for being so wonderful to work with! Have a wonderful happy marriage!
